java JLex.Main Yylex

I've sort of got java on the brain today.

Well...sort of as in "Java and JLex specifications". I've been working for most of the day since Amanda is in Waterloo (poop.)

Part 1 went well, so my hopes are high for part 2. Right.....yes.

In other news, 4 job interviews this week. They went from really good interviews for desirable jobs (Dofasco), to really awful interviews (Arius).

Altogether, 5 interviews, and 3 of the jobs I actually want. Not bad. Definately up from last term, when I had 3 interviews and didn't really want to get any of them.

oh man, I need someone here to high five me. Excellent!

School is insane, but I won't go into HOW insane, since most of the people who read this are in some of my classes. You all know how insane it is. Think.....if someone gave a monkey a trout and started smacking the monkey lightly and shouting "More generating functions! More scanners!"

I have a lot of time for reflection on my drives to and from school.

I've come to the conclusion that I want to write something before I die. A story. I'm not sure what. Jarrett once described Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as reading like something I had written, and a very large part of me would be thrilled with writing something that incredibly, perversely insane.

And a very small part of me would rather write something serious. Now I just need to practice thinking seriously, and I'll be set.

Yeah, I have a spine, a weird sense of humour, and most people don't get all of my jokes.

Ohh man. I went home this weekend and didn't do ANY cs241. I really need to get my act together :|

As for your book Trevor, all we need to do is record our conversations with your for a few weeks and you'll have all the content you need :)

haha, I just finished part 2.

Well, by "finished part 2" I actually mean "passed all the test cases". I don't want to check any more right now. I'll leave the stress testing for another day.

Part 2 is also complete, except that it doesn't pass 1 out of 9 test cases, and I'm not sure why they say that one should output like it does.

So altogether, I had a pretty productive weekend. There's a first time for everything.
